We are an innovative and fully supportive coffee service based in Kings Worthy, Winchester, only a 3-minute drive from the City Centre and 5 minutes by bus from the train station.

Our Coffee School and Philosophy

Winchester Coffee School offers a dedicated training space above the Roastery in a relaxed learning environment. Fully equipped with state of the art espresso machines, grinders, a brew & sensory bar and the Roastmax Roasting Machines downstairs means you will have all the right tools at your fingertips.

Our goal is simple: to share our passion and expertise for coffee as a product, service, and experience.

Our team has a wealth of knowledge and skills, from roasting coffee to the brewing process; through advice on running your own businesses, whether a cafe, mobile coffee bar or other catering arenas.

Bio:

After living, training and working in Australia, with some of the best Baristas and Coffee Roasters in the world, Mark knew he could  bring some fresh skills and advanced techniques to the UK coffee market. With many years running successful busines’s, Mark has a wealth of knowledge in coffee Roasting and business practices to provide you with the support you need to succeed.

 

Antonia Godward 

Business Development & Training Manager

Bio:

Antonia’s knowledge in the coffee industry started with passion at a young age whilst spending time in Europe, mainly Austria and Italy. After owning her own Patisserie & Coffee House Antonia wanted to help other businesses achieve their goals with business support, great barista training and utilising her financial background to ensure that the independent succeeds and survives in the economy. Antonia is also training as a Q Grader.

 

David Thomas

Bio:

Dave fell in love with the coffee industry whilst travelling through Australia and on his return wanted to bring his experience into the school environment, making great Baristas something that is achievable and accessable to all. On the weekends you can find Dave running our cafe, providing our amazing coffee with sweet treats and showing the passion we all share for the industry. Yes! he does smile on a good day 😉

 

Hannah Scott

Bio:

Hannah has been in the coffee industry for the past three years working with Winchester Coffee School & Roasters. She is always broadening her skillset and, is training to teach more of the courses that the school has to offer. Hannah’s passion for coffee was sparked by the sheer diversity of the industry and, the fantastic culture that is has to offer.
