A 6 Hour, 1 Day course with a break for lunch. We provide a light lunch. Covering the key skills required to become a great Barista.

Are you looking at jumping starting your skills as a budding Barista? Want to learn more about espresso-based coffee?
This course is designed to introduce you to the core barista skills in the industry and no previous professional experience is needed. You will learn the basics and variables of grinder set up, calibration and using a professional espresso machine along with dosing, tamping and understanding espresso tastes. We then focus on steaming milk to produce a silky textured micro-foam for milk-based drinks in the espresso based menu.

This course is globally accredited via the Speciality Coffee Association (SCA) and you can take the optional SCA Certified Written Exam at the end of the day, where you will gain 5 points towards your Coffee Skills Programme.
